Der GPX 5000 ist eine Minelab Entwicklung im Bereich "Gold- und Tiefendetektoren!" Er arbeitet mit der DVT-Technologie (Dual Voltage), die ihm unglaubliche Eindringtiefen, auch auf kleinste Objekte, erreichen lässt. Er ist digital justierbar und steuerbar. Zwei verschiedene Stromstärken, die Dual Voltage Technologie, verhelfen dem GPX 5000 zu unglaublichen, bisher kaum erreichten Eindringtiefen. Die stärkste Leistung wird auf Gold bzw. Naturgold erreicht. Er besitzt sehr hohe Eindringtiefen in stark mineralisierten oder salzhaltigen Böden aber auch für zentraleuropäische Verhältnisse ist der GPX 5000 bestens geeignet, Objekte aus Bronze, Gold oder Silber extrem tief zu orten.

Der GPX 5000 Goldnuggetdetektor arbeitet mit automatischer und manueller Frequenzsuche für die optimale Leistung. Durch Feintuning kann er optimal eingestellt werden. Er besitzt einen Allmetall-und Diskriminierungs-Modus, sowie eine spezielle Bodenanpassung füreinfache und schwierige Bodenverhältnisse.

Der GPX 5000 besitzt einen Allmetall- und einen Diskriminierungsmodus, eine spezielle Bodenanpassung für stark mineralisierte Böden und eine Rauschunterdrückungsfunktion. Der GPX5000 ist auch gut geeignet für salzhaltige Böden.
